We are a family business providing a personal touch to each and every pet we see. All cremations are individual and carried out by ourselves at our Verwood offices. We provide a full door-to-door service with our aim to give a total peace of mind and individual cremation service for your pet carried out with compassion and professionalism from beginning to end.

Collection
We can collect your pet from your home or Veterinary Practice. Should you wish to bring your pet to us call ahead and we can make everything ready for you

Cremation
We guarantee your pet will be individually cremated. The service will take place within 3 days to provide time for our families to process the options available.

Ashes
You are welcome to collect your pet’s ashes directly from us or alternatively we can deliver them to you at home. Make arrangements with us at any point during the process.

What does individual cremation mean?
An individual cremation is when your pet is cremated separately. This guarantees the ashes we return are your pet and only your pet, a certificate of cremation will be provided giving details of the cremation.
How long does a cremation take to perform?
Each cremation is different and will not be rushed by us, dignity and respect are top of our priority. It can take from 1 hour to 3 hours or more dependent on the size of the pet. It is our policy to return your pets ashes within a 3 day period. We are committed to providing a respectful final farewell to all the pets we deal with.
How do I know if my Veterinary practice uses Dorset Pet Cremations Ltd?
Just ask your veterinary practice, this is a perfectly reasonable question to ask. It’s your pet your are saying goodbye to and like us you want to do the best by them. You are always welcome to contact us before choosing your pet’s last journey.
Can I cremate more than one pet together?
Yes, often people with to have companions cremated together, it will depend on the size of each pet but normally it would not be a problem to fulfil your wishes, give us a call to discuss.
How much does it cost to have my pet cremated?
